Bar Angeli is one of my new favourite places to go for a coffee in Leamington Spa. It has such a cosy vibe and I adore their syphon coffee. It’s very reasonably priced and you get approximately three cups of coffee out of it. What a bargain! I mean maybe the fact that I have my coffee with loads of milk and sugar has something to do with me being able to squeeze three cups of coffee out of the syphon… but still. I really recommend checking this cute little café out on a rainy Sunday. That’s exactly what Justin, Sonya and I did approximately three weeks ago. Overall, 10/10 for Bar Angeli. The weather has really cooled down and generally become a lot more.. miserable. I now have to wear a scarf whenever I leave my house. It’s times like this that I wish I lived in LA or any other location where it’s always sunny and temperate weather. A girl can dream, hey? Until then, it’s bundling up in scarves, gloves and fuzzy jackets for me!

I’ve been a bit under the weather recently (excuse the pun) as my health hasn’t been so good. Unfortunately, my throat really hurts ever since last Saturday when I went to the Halloween Party. I went to the doctor and he said that it’s not tonsilitis or anything like that, just a bit of acid coming up my throat. He prescribed some medicine for me but it still hurts SO much! I have been exclusively eating soup and drinking green tea. It hurts to even swallow my saliva!! I cannot wait for this pain to go away so I can go back to living my productive life. On Monday I had to just take the day off and try to get better at home. To be honest, it was quite nice to just stay in and catch up on YouTube videos, though. 😉 I can’t believe the time has flown by so quickly and now we are rapidly approaching reading week (a week off from lectures and seminars to catch up on readings). For once, I’m actually going to use the reading week for its purpose. Normally the travel bug inside of me starts itching and I end up booking a trip somewhere, haha! But now it’s final year and I mean business. Any bets on whether I’ll actually catch up on all my university work?

What do you do on a rainy day?
