Brunch at Procaffeinate

Procaffeinate is another one of my favourite brunch spots in Leamington Spa. I feel like they’ve upgraded their menu since I was last there two years ago. I ordered a BIG vanilla latte and their Healthy Baked Eggs – so delicious! I really recommend ordering this meal. Although it looks like a really small café, it’s actually decently sized once you go downstairs via their SMEG fridge. Yes, you read that right. The fridge leads you downstairs. How quirky is that! Unique interior adjustments like that really make a café stand out to me and make me want to revisit. Point in case: the bathrooms in Sketch, London (click here for visuals). Another great tip for you if you ever go to Procaffeinate is to take advantage of their free toast. If you order, for example, a coffee, you’re able to have unlimited bread and butter with it. If you’re a university student living in South Leamington, that’s a quick brekkie-to-go sorted for you!

I have a confession. These photos were taken WELL over a month ago, during reading week when I was catching up with a friend. Things have been so hectic lately that I have a backlog of posts that I’m still going through slowly. Life has been all over the place for me recently, with a lot of highs and lows. I’m trying to keep my head above the water and just keep swimming. There’s a little Finding Nemo reference for you – maybe I should have a Pixar movie marathon? I’m happy that I’m staying on track (roughly) with my 1 post/week though! Taking the time out of my day to write a blog post is so therapeutic for me so I really want to manage my time better so that I keep up with it over the Christmas break. I’m so happy that I made the decision to restart blogging in August as it’s really fulfilled me in a more creative way. Everyone has been so lovely and supportive and I really want to thank each and every one of you who have reached out and encouraged me to keep writing. You don’t know how much it means to me. ❤️

These photos made me realise that my current hair colour is getting a slightly brassier tone, so maybe I should invest in some purple shampoo to combat it. Do you guys have any recommendations? On the topic of hair care, I’ll be posting about a really cool hair care brand soon that is my new favourite! It’s the perfect Christmas gift for anyone who loves their tresses.

This weekend I’m going away to London/Essex to visit some friends of mine and I cannot wait! It’ll be really nice to escape for a bit and catch up with close friends over a glass of wine (or two..). Stay tuned for photos of that!

Are you going away somewhere for the holidays?
