Horseriding in Southend-on-Sea

HOW CUTE IS BENTLY THE HORSE!?! I can’t stop smiling when looking through these photos. These photos were taken when I went to visit Justin and Adam in Southend-on-Sea a few weekends ago. It was so nice to catch up with them both and also to see where Justin grew up. As you can see from the photos, I even got to meet his horse Bently! Look at his cute face!!! I even got a little cheeky kiss on the cheek. ❤️ I have a confession. No horseriding took place that day so, yes, the title of this post is a s ca m. Sue me. I couldn’t think of a better title, haha! I did get to groom him though – that counts, right? Maybe next time if Justin invites me round again, hm, Justin? (I know he’s reading this, hehehe)

Even though I was in Southend-on-Sea only for a very short visit, I got to see the surrounding areas and even hit up a couple of cafés: Toppers & Toast and Wild Health! I thought about including photos from them in this post but thought I’d leave that for another time so that I can dedicate a separate post to each café. That way you’ll get a more in-depth review!

I hope all of you have enjoyed your Christmas and spent it nicely with your loved ones. It’s been really lovely having Queenie round and showing her how my family celebrate Christmas the Lithuanian/Latvian way. By the time you’re reading this, we will have already been to Belgium, France and Germany and will be getting ready to celebrate New Year’s Eve. I’m most likely applying fake tan to Queenie’s back as we speak. I wonder what we’ll end up doing for NYE as it’s always so… disappointing? I know, so cynical of me. I feel like every year there’s so much hype and the night never lives up to my expectations. I scheduled this post in advance so that I can focus on writing my university assignments in any free time that I do have leading up to 2019. We stan a time-managing queen. Or at the very least… we STRIVE to be a time-managing queen. That’s my goal for 2019.

What are your plans for New Year’s Eve?
