Sunrise breakfast at Duck & Waffle is a dream. Though, I must admit, it didn’t seem like it would be with a wake-up call at 5 am… However, it was totally worth it witnessing the sunrise on the 40th floor in Central London. What. A. Dream. I surprised my friend Justin with a sunrise breakfast for his 23rd birthday and he loved it. As did I, of course! I think I definitely won some friendship points for this one. I contacted Duck & Waffle to organise a little cake for him and it was divine. I believe this one was for 2 people but, even so, it was A LOT for us. Shocking, considering we had duck and waffles, mimosas and coffee each… 😉
I’ve been wanting to go to Duck & Waffle for the longest time, after hearing my friends raving about this place for years. My friend Mia told me she used to go here after a night out in London at 3 am for post-clubbing food… can you even believe that?! Honestly, that’s my goal, haha! Duck & Waffle as post-clubbing food. What a concept. They’re always super busy so you need to make a reservation to secure a table. I can understand why as the food is delicious, the service is great and the views are s p e c t a c u l a r. Just look at the photos! It’s hard to believe that I took those photos of the sun peeking out behind London’s skyscrapers.
I’ve only been here the one time but I would definitely go again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting London. Preferably, I’d go at a more agreeable time than 6 am next time… 😉
Have you ever been to Duck & Waffle? How did you like it?
