The Job Hunt

The Job Hunt. That’s what’s been on my mind for the past couple of months. It’s really nerve-wracking thinking about the future and what it may hold. Well, hopefully, employment… Haha! This holiday season will be very busy for me, filled with job applications and writing essays to hand in at the start of 2019. Nothing screams good vibes for the New Year quite like looming deadlines for essays worth 100% of your final grade, am I right?

All jokes aside, I have just finished Term 1 of my final year at university and I can’t help but reflect on the past 10 weeks. It’s crazy to think that I only have one more ‘normal’ term of university left and then it will be my final exams. How have the past four years just flown by so quickly!? I’m not ready to graduate. Well… I am. Because, you know, academia is very interesting but also very draining. But am I ready to become a fully-fledged adult? N o. Will I ever be ready, though? Also, big no. I’m already starting to set some goals for myself for what I want to do differently next term. I need to make the most out of being a university student and attend all the big student nights out at least one last time. I know… it sounds so onerous but unless I make the effort, I know that time will just fly by and I will have missed my shot to party with my closest uni friends. Wow, reading that back made me chuckle. My goal is to party more, haha. Sorry, mom, if you’re reading this! (OBVIOUSLY, continue studying hard as well. 😉)

These photos were taken roughly a month ago when my friend Déaghlan came round to my place. I love that boy so much because he rolls with my unusual photo ideas. I’d even say that he encourages them. If you don’t believe me, just check out his Instagram. He is all about the aesthetics. This photoshoot was my take on the white robe + hair towel + newspaper Instagram trend. Sue me.

What are your plans this holiday season?
